ArchiveWorkshop

People’s Graphic Design Archive

A virtual digital archiving workshop and live add-a-thon.

Sunday, October 4 • 2:00–3:30 PM

Virtual (via Zoom)

Tickets available soon

The People’s Graphic Design Archive is a crowd-sourced virtual archive expanding the record of graphic design through finished work and the materials around it, including process, photographs, correspondence, oral histories, essays, ephemera, and more.

Join PGDA for an introduction to the Archive and the practice of digital archiving. Through examples and conversation, attendees will explore how material is found, researched, documented, described, contextualized, and contributed to a shared digital record.

Then put that process into practice through a live add-a-thon. Participants will research materials, share discoveries, and identify potential contributions with PGDA guiding the process along the way.
