Bringing together furniture designer and artist Jomo Tariku and interior designer Maple Adams-Krygier, Behind the Design: The Work Before the Work explores the research and references that shape how spaces are imagined and experienced.

From understanding how people live and move through a space to drawing from culture, history, place, material, and personal experience, the conversation considers how different points of view ultimately influence the environments around us and the ways art and design shape our experience of place.

Part 2: The Design Lab
Following the conversation, guests are invited into the Arhaus Design Lab to explore materials, finishes, and combinations firsthand and explore their own design perspective.
